What's totally new with the 2026 Terrain?
Okay, so it’s a full redesign! They really made it look fresh on the outside, and the inside feels completely new too – tons of new tech and even more safety stuff. It truly feels like a huge upgrade!
What kind of engine does it have?
Mine has the 1.5L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine, and it’s surprisingly zippy! It gets great gas mileage for an SUV, but still has plenty of power for daily driving and when I need to pass someone on the highway. Super efficient!
Can I use my phone easily with it?
YES! This was a big one for me. It has wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto built right in. My phone connects instantly, and I can use my maps, music, and texts without any cables. Seriously convenient!
How safe is it, really?
I was super impressed with the safety features. It comes with GMC Pro Safety, which includes stuff like automatic emergency braking (already had one close call, and it helped!), lane keeping assist, and alerts for pedestrians. I feel so much safer driving my family around.
Can it tow anything?
Yep! While it’s not a huge truck, it can actually tow up to 1,500 pounds. That’s enough for my small utility trailer or even a jet ski if I wanted. Handy for weekend fun!
